Estimates and Timelines

We make every reasonable effort to provide accurate repair estimates and timeline projections. Actual repair time and final cost may vary if additional damage is discovered during the repair process, parts availability changes, or insurance approvals require additional time. We will notify you promptly of any material changes and obtain your approval before proceeding with additional work.

3. Estimates and Pricing

Estimates provided by Dulles Auto Collision are based on the information available at the time of inspection. Final pricing may vary if hidden damage is discovered once disassembly begins, if additional parts or labor are required, or if your insurance company's approved scope differs from our initial estimate.

We will always contact you before performing any work outside the approved estimate. You are under no obligation to proceed if pricing changes are unacceptable. All pricing is confirmed in writing before repair work begins.

4. Insurance Claims

Dulles Auto Collision works directly with all major insurance companies. When you authorize us to handle your claim, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate insurance policy and claim information
  • Authorize us to communicate with your insurer on your behalf
  • Acknowledge that final payment from your insurer is between you and your insurance company — we will bill your insurer directly where applicable, but you remain responsible for any unpaid balance including deductibles
  • Understand that delays caused by your insurance company's approval process are outside our control

We offer $100 off your deductible on qualifying repairs. This offer is subject to change and may not be combined with other promotions.

5. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure a successful repair experience, customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your vehicle (year, make, model, drivetrain) and the damage
  • Provide accurate insurance and contact information
  • Remain reachable throughout the repair process for approvals and updates
  • Pick up your vehicle within a reasonable time after repair completion — storage fees may apply for vehicles not retrieved within 5 business days of completion notice
  • Remove all personal belongings from the vehicle prior to drop-off — Dulles Auto Collision is not responsible for personal items left in vehicles
  • Notify us promptly if you need to cancel or reschedule your drop-off appointment

6. Vehicle Release and Pre-Existing Damage

By dropping off your vehicle, you represent that you are the owner or are authorized by the owner to arrange for repairs. You agree that Dulles Auto Collision may perform the approved repairs on the vehicle.

Our team will document the condition of your vehicle at drop-off, including any visible pre-existing damage. We take reasonable care of all vehicles in our possession. However, Dulles Auto Collision is not responsible for pre-existing damage, mechanical issues unrelated to the repair, or normal wear and tear present before drop-off.

7. Warranty

Dulles Auto Collision provides a lifetime warranty on all collision repairs performed at our facility. This warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials related to the specific repair performed. It does not cover:

  • Damage caused by subsequent accidents, collisions, or misuse
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by environmental factors (road debris, weather, UV exposure) after delivery
  • Mechanical repairs or components unrelated to the body repair performed

To make a warranty claim, contact us at (571) 599-9791 with your repair details. We will inspect the vehicle and, if the issue is covered, perform corrective work at no charge.

8. Payment

Payment for services is due at the time of vehicle pickup unless other arrangements have been made in advance (such as direct insurance billing). We accept major forms of payment as communicated by our team. Your deductible and any non-covered costs are due at pickup.

In the event of a disputed charge, please contact us at (571) 599-9791 within a reasonable time frame and we will work to resolve the issue promptly.

9. Limitation of Liability

Dulles Auto Collision shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the services provided or the use of this website, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of revenue, or damage to property not directly caused by our negligence.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of services performed shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
